Its possible the heating element has shorted to the frame or casing of the heating element which would cause the heating element to stay on even when the dryer is not running. Definitely check for that but first make sure the vent hose is not clogged and if it is not clogged then then definitely check to see if the heating element has shorted to the frame (i've seen that happen before)

When Using The Dryer It Gets Hot But When The Cycle Stops Its So Hot You Can Hardly Open It. Its Also Stays Warm After The Cycle Stops,like Something Is Still On.:(
