I sounds like one of the switches is not operating correctly.
Try running the diagnostics to narrow it down.
Odds are high that you will have to usea meter and check the switches.

Could also be that the control board is acting up but a lot of troubleshooting has to be done before you can move this to the top of the list.

When dryer cycles to cool down mode, it does not cool down. The dryer actually gets hotter. I have checked for blockage in vent and lint screen area and everything is clear. What could be the problem? Thnx for your assistance with this problem.
