is water taking longer than usual ?how long? to drain? check for kink in drain hose ,

The washer won't completely drain all the water in the spin cycle with heavier loads!It seems to function ok with small to medium loads.Is there a filter trap on this machine that can become clogged and impede water from getting to the water pump?
