I have a Whirlpool Cabrio top loading washing machine, roughly 8 years old. It works great still other than leaking out the front left bottom of the machine. After extensive searching I discovered that the leak is happening due to an over abundance of water pressure shooting through the detergent dispenser, casing water to fly all around and leaking down to that bottom front left corner on the floor. I found a youtube video of this exact thing happening on another washer that is identical to mine and the solution was to replace that blue valve assembly with 4 hose connections and 7 electrical ones.
I went ahead and ordered a new valve, installed it, and the same thing happens, so it is telling me that's not the problem and there has got to be another reason why the water is shooting out so aggressively.my home water pressure is set to 70psi.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Nick
