Hi,

I have a Kenmore 100 Series dryer that is about 18 months old. The dryer was in use when it apparently stopped mid cycle (came back to it with partially dry clothes). Pressing the start button and trying various combination in the timer don't work either.

Basically the dryer is completely unresponsive, no noises or movement whatsoever.

I have practically disassembled the entire thing trying to find the problem but don't know what else to test. Here is what I have tested so far:

1. Breakers, and 240V outlet [Working]
2. Dryer end of power chord [Has all 240V]
3. Thermal Fuse, also tried connecting two cables directly [Has continuity]
4. Thermostats [Have continuity]
4. Door Switch [Has continuity when depressed]
5. Drive Belt [Intact and in place]
7. Start button [Has continuity when depressed]
8. Timer [Has some faulty settings, has been like this for months when working]

I'm guessing the problem might be the motor now. Not sure how to test it, or if there is anything else I might have missed checking or something else I could double check.

I appreciate any help I can get with this!
