I have a GE Profile oven that we use about 2-3 times per year. It is ~ 10 yrs old. Some of the touchpad keys are starting to NOT function. I've taken the ribbon cable off, used the pencil eraser and alcohol to clean the contacts, but, still not getting connection from some keys - it is the same keys each time. I've even separated the key panel from the control panel and touched the keys from the inside (hoping for a better touch response), same result.

The oven is located on a marina on a lake, so, we do get hit by lightning frequently. This may or may not be a factor.

I'm looking for suggestions on next steps to take to get this unit back to operating condition.
