that this is common with this unit. An internal wire in the door is damaged. There is no way to fix it. Throw away the refrigerator and dump another $1500 into a new one. In my case that probably wouldn't be so bad since I already dumped $500 into trying to fix the ice maker.

Ice maker head does not cycle through ice making process. I removed the ice maker and the harness and tested the voltage at the point where the harness plugs into the freezer. Black to Tan = 120V. Black to White = 37V. Why is it 37V? Is this a problem?
