Why are you replacing this part? How did it fail?

You should be able to remove the rear panel and a few screws on the inside of the drum to get it off according to this picture.

I need to replace the rear air duct in my dryer. Looking at the diagrams it looks like I need to access it from both inside the drum and from the rear by removing the back panel. Any advice? This is the link to the part I am replacing Frigidaire 5304508449 Duct-Air - AppliancePartsPros.com

Thank you!
