We have a Duet Whirlpool, 8 years old or so. Large family, so put to work daily. Lately it will come on whenever it feels like. Sometimes it will not start, other times it will turn off in the middle of a cycle.

I have a feeling that it might be a loose wire or a short. Or it might be the board, but i hope not.

So i started taking the lid off, but not sure about the next step. I know i need to look for burned wires and maybe burned spots on the board.

Another option might maybe be the door switch???
