The washer works perfectly in all modes except in final spin in regular wash. The washer advances from final spin to off position quickly, while pumping out the water and tumbling to separate the clothes. It never goes to spin speed and the clothes are dripping wet. I can get the final spin function to work if I push the select knob in to turn the machine off and then pull on when the timer advances to final spin, then the timer advances at normal speed and the final spin works properly. If I advance the selector knob to final spin in the normal wash range after the cycle is finished and then pull the knob, final spin works perfectly. The timer has been changed twice but the problem persists. Is the problem perhaps in another control component?
