Just as a quick check, do a little something for me. Unplug unit, pull the rectangular cover off the back. (small one covering the board) Take the board out by squeezing the pins holding it in place and pulling it towards you. You should be able to look on the back side of the board without disconnecting the wires, at least not all of them. Look to see if there is a small burn/scorch mark on the back side of the board. It sounds like the compressor relay on the board shorted out. Let me know what you find. Thanks!

Refrigerator was working fine, freezer was not defrosting properly. Noisy during defrost and water gathered on the ceiling then turned to ice, but all food was still frozen. Went on for a few weeks.
Cleaned out the defrost drain, still no good.

Just found water all over the floor and nothing working but lights. Unplugged it and plugged back it and it is now running but both fridge and freezer room temp.

Read similar posts, but ? Sounds like it was a defrost problem but now ?
I put 5-10 years but don't know, bought it used. (Just a month ago)
Thanks in advance for your reply.
