Please revise your model #. The one you listed gives no results.
Perhaps also you can tell us what your problem was that caused you to change your timer.

kitchen Aid model ykeys700jk0

timer model 3976570A

Hello i have a kitchenaid dryer and i 've changed the timer switch and would like to know why that when i check continuaty on the tan and white wires that i get a close circuit when i am set to end of cycle... according to schematics that the only time that i m suppose to read open line?

was also wondering why is that on the new one i have tan, white and no color on the third slot. on the old one i had grey tan and white. And on the old one from a left to right side view of the circuit, grey and tan seem to be part of the same circuit of the timer. No wire on the grey, and the new one also left to right tan and white together on the same circuit and the not coloured one alone?
Thanks
