Hi,

I have a maytag centennial washer and have noticed recently that the washer is stopping in the middle of a regular/normal cycle. I am able to move the dial slightly and pull back up on the knob and the washer continues its cycle until completion.

It seems like when it gets to a certain point the machine it just quits but I am able to get it back up and running just by moving it slightly and pulling up so I dont know if it is a water issue or a timer issue?

I dont think its been happening everytime so I think maybe its isolated to a water temp setting (cold, cool, etc) or a load size setting (super, medium, etc).

Any ideas out there before we contact someone to diagnose? I feel like its a timer issue?

Thanks in advance.
