My Whirlpool dishwasher uses two "friction pads" to prevent the front door from flopping open. Over the two + years I've owned this dishwasher the friction pads have broken three times! The pad doesn't last even a year and requires the dishwasher to be pulled out a few inches to repair. This seems to be a design flaw to me and I'm wondering if others have this problem too.
