First off hello, and thanks in advance for any help....


Jenn-Air wall oven, which I now want to turn into a boat anchor. We purchased our place and right away we got an F5 error whenever we put the temperature to 400 F. But we put it to 405 F and it works... so thats no longer been an issue for over a year.

Recently (on two separate occasions and no for no specific reason) The element at the bottom just shuts down and then obviously the temperature in the oven starts to go down down down....

I unplugged the faceplate from the electronics and plugged it back in and its working again.

Anyways just wondering if someone has come across this issue, if its just a relay??? issue? Or if its time to make this oven a wall anchor.
