My ice maker stopped working. I removed it, to discover that the tube coming from the rear of the box was frozen solid.
Using a heated steel rod, I melted the ice going back about 4-5 inches.
However, it was still frozen further back.
Can anyone suggest the best was to remove all of the ice in the water delivery path?
Also, I am confused as to why the water was blocked and froze in the tube. I saw no obstructions that could have caused this.
