You can generate error codes for this model. The service manual for it is in the back of the service manual for the 3000 model, the one with the picture of Mr. Carlson on the front, although the manual never says that.

My Maytag neptune MAH5500BWW washer wont spin or agitate and the door lock light does come on. I can hear something running that sounds like the motor could be spinning and maybe the belt is broke or something. but it is very quiet and I can't tell. I am getting ready to tear the back panel off to check belt
