Ordered a new control board, installed it and it works fine now! I believe the manufacturer part # was Maytag Dryer Microcomputer # 35001153.

I think I bought it for around $175 plus S&H.

Good luck!

Hello,
Did you figure out what your problem was? I'm having some issues with mystery flickering lights.
Thanks

We have a Neptune MDG9700AWM dryer. This morning, the lights on the control panel were all flickering, then it only ran for approx. 5 seconds or less and it shut off. I tried again, and the same thing happened. This happens for every heat selection mode I try. I left it unplugged for 5 -10 minutes to see if that might reset something, but it's still occurring. It's not displaying any error codes, but I don't know how to set it into test/service mode to check if there's any stored codes. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It appears to me that it might need a new control board but I'm not sure.
