Turn the dial to the start position and continue turning through the wash period. If you never hear a clunking sound, you have a bad drain solenoid AP2039738. If the motor fails to run, you have a jammed pump. You can clear this by turning the fan attached to the motor. You can replace the solenoid by pulling the bottom kick panel. The drain solenoid attaches to the pump/motor.

I replaced the celluloid and the timer on my dishwasher and still it won’t drain. What else can I do?
