Try changing out the control unit, and if you buy from this site and that part does not fix things you can return it. Front loaders are like this, work great when they work, hard to diagnose when they don't and sometimes you just end up replacing parts until you get the combination that fixes things. That's the way they are designed, maybe not on purpose.

Hello, my stacked front loaded washer stopped agitating/spinning a while and I tried a number of things and can't figure out what is wrong. I went through the provided Tech sheet regarding the motor movement and I'm stuck.

The tech sheet says:
1) Check for power - have power
2) Check for motor movement - motor does not move, I didn't see any obvious poor connections so wasn't sure how to verify.
3) Measure voltages - I measure 0 when I check between pins 5 and 6, so the sheet tells me to check connections in the timer line switch or door lock.

I've looked it over, tried replugging things, and still nothing. The tech sheet doesn't provide additional guidance if I can't get past this.

I looked online and I ended up replacing my door latch switch. The old wax motor measured 300ohms and my new one measures about 1600 ohms, which I read was good. Motor still doesn't run and pin 5 & 6 still read 0 vdc.

I decided to check the wires on both sides of the timer, as indicated on the Te sheet and they both read continuous. However, when I turn on the washer and measure the voltage across the timer, it jumps slightly and then goes back to 0.

I'm a little lost on what to try next. I suspect either the timer or the speed control but I don't know what to try next, help please!

*Edit 1* Something else I noticed and forgot to mention: the Knob also seemed to stop rotating so the washer won't go from phase to phase. When I turn it manually, water will still pump/drain, just no agitation.
