I have an electric Maytag MED7500YW 1 dryer (24” W, 220V) that does not spin. I have checked the door switch, the heating element, thermostats, etc. I need to check the thermal fuse? in the front of the dryer, and I need to remove the front panel to do it. The motor circuit runs through these discs.

I have taken the top off, and can see the Torx screws. From when I can see, I need a long (18”) torx screwdriver to get at the bottom screws from the back side.

I have a service manual, but it appears to be victim of “Features and appearances vary between models”, as it indicates there should be screws coming from the front of the machine.
There must be an easier way than using a 18” torx screwdriver?
