The auger motor in my ice maker broke. The ice maker worked fine, just the auger shaft broke so it would not dispense the cubes. I had an extended warranty and the GE repair guy replaced the part a few days ago. Now it's not making ice cubes. The water dispenser works fine. The "ice lock" is not on. Some ice makers have a bar or lever so it doesn't make too much ice. My fridge does not appear to have anything like that. I wonder if the repair guy somehow turned off the water supply to the ice maker while he changed the auger motor. And forgot to turn it back on. Any ideas?
