I have the aforementioned GE washer equipped with an SPBD880JWW Smart Dispense Pedestal. Behind the pedestal drawer there are three pumps that dispense two varieties of soap and fabric softener at appropriate times during the wash cycle from 3 tanks contained in the pedestal drawer. I use P&G's Downy softener product and it's turned into "Downy pudding" (yes Google it) damaging the pump. I need to find the part number and the GE customer service rep I got at parts had not a clue about what I was talking about. She kept referring me to the "dispenser drawer" at the top left of the machine. You wouldn't believe the conversation even if I had recorded it. Has anyone who services GE had issues with this puppy?
