I have to turn the dryer off. I'm going to change the coils to see if that helps.

That's a pretty odd occurance. So what do you have to do to stop the flow of gas?

The dryer starts to run correctly then the flame goes out but the gas stays on and discharges through the dryer vent. Any ideas???
