I have a maytag pav2200aww. It starts fine but after agitation before as it goes into the first spin it goes slow and the water rises and leaks over the top of the tub. If I hit the switch a few times with lid or screwdriver it seems to get the water pumping after the third time or so. Lid switch or timer issue? I don't think it's a pump issue since the pump seems to work fine once you get it going.
