The ice dispenser/crusher on my ice maker is starting to drop ice outside of the dispensing chute. The ice is falling into the bottom of the freezer on other frozen items or into an empty shelf on the door.

I have checked the auger, the flapper and even emptied ALL of the ice from the bin and let it thaw. I put the bin back in and ran more ice, but I still have this problem.

Help!
