Trouble = Will not run, No lights on control panel, no sounds, Acts like it would if not plugged in to wall socket.

Fix = Replaced control board.

Found a diagnostic schematic in bottom panel of dryer. Followed troubleshooting guide. Had power to board and at step 4 or 5 of the troubleshooting guide it said that I had a defective board. To my amazement I ordered the new control board yesterday and it was on my doorstep late today!

Replaced the board and it works now! This dryer was used less than 50 times before it broke down. I'll think long and hard before I buy another Whirlpool product as my Whirlpool over the stove microwave has a bad door switch and a broken plastic handle.....my next project.
