Measure the freezer and fridg temperatures and post. Also, check to see if the back freezer panel has frost on it.

I have a stainless steel built in.

The refrig was making noises trying to hold temp. It was still keeping cold and freezer frozen but working hard so to speak.

Finally the service guy decided it was the computer controller /circuit board. He shut off the refrig. He pulled the board Sept 2, 2014. Now is Oct 15th. I have not has a call back from him, the customer service department at Kitchenaid seems to have no solutions other than buy a new refrigerator.

Any suggestions? Can I buy a new circuit board?
