I would start by checking your freezer temperature.
It should be between 0 and 5 degrees F.
This is probably not the problem but is worth checking.

The problem is most likely the fresh food thermostat or the damper motor/assembly.

I have a side by side that is freezing the contents of the refrigerator section and has broke the ice maker filter housing 2 times in the last month Any answers or what to look for
