Thats what I was afraid of. Our camp is a mobile home on city water and electricity. I think it just died. I went out and checked it has been running for 3 hrs and thr compressor is pretty hot. The copper yubing around the compressor is pretty cold, weird problems are my specialty.

Here are your parts
Parts for Frigidaire FRT17L3FW1 Refrigerator - AppliancePartsPros.com

I am assuming that the compressor was vibrating when you checked to see if it was on.

I would look for a new fridge.

If the compressor runs continuously except when in a defrost cycle and you there is no cooling then it is a sealed system problem.
This would be an expensive repair as you need a pro.

You said a duck camp so I would try to get a unit that does not use any electronics as they do not like poor power.

Hey guys I hope you can help me. I have a 7 year old fridgedaire freezer on top refrigerator. We unplugged it fot 5 months at duck camp and went back recently turned on the power and the fan runs, feels like the compressor is running but it will not cool. Neither the fridge or freezer. Left it plugged in for 3 days and the compressor was a little warm but not hot or anything. What should I look for? Thanks for the help. Ron Raines:)
