Thanks again Eric. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Unplug washer for 15 seconds, plug back in and within 30 seconds press/hold power and start for 3 seconds.
Looks like you have a bad temp sensor. Should be 50k at 77°, your measuring 8k at a lower temp when resistance should be even higher than 50k at a lower temp.

Thank you Eric I pulled the plug on temp sensor and hot stays on on hot cycle, both hot and cold on warm cycle. and just cold on cold. Resistance was 8k at 70 deg. Tech Sheet said to press power and start to get codes but it is not working for me? Is there a trick to that?

The ATC flushes the water inlets with hot water for the first 6 seconds of a warm wash cycle. Unplug temp sensor at control board (J6 2 pin connector) and check resistance of sensor. Should be 50K ohms at 77° As temperature rises, resistance lowers and vice versa. Tech sheet should be inside control panel. It will tell you how to go into service mode to check for error codes. If temp sensor is open or shorted, should show E67 or E66 error. Eric

That is with the door closed. I can hear the valve buzz and in about 12 seconds it closes and the water in the tub is ALWAYS cold on any setting. If the door sensor was not working would it let water run hot for a short time? Or could the atc sensor be at fault? Is there a way to bypass sensors to test?

Are you filling with lid closed? Lid must be closed in order for ATC (automatic temperature control) to work. ATC is part of the control board and controls the water inlet valves. Temp of water in tub after fill on warm setting should be about 80° ±7° for wash and 70° ±7° for rinse. On hot setting, temp should be 115° ±8° for wash, rinse temp is not specified.

When I run the washer in warm or hot cycle the hot water only runs for about 12 seconds then the rest just fills with cold water??? The inlet solenoid valves have been replaced and still the same problem. Thanks you
