It seems that when using the Automatic Cycles on our Whirlpool dryer the dryer shuts off too early. It does heat up okay but when the dryer shuts off the clothes are still damp. I’m assuming it’s something to do with the moisture sensor but when I run the diagnostic tests and bridge the strips with my finger the dryer beeps and I get a “05” on the console. I think I’m supposed to get a “03” but not sure if that difference in readings means anything. I’m not afraid of taking the dryer apart or using my ohmmeter to measure a component’s resistance. Any advice you can give would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help.
