Hello all and thanks in advance. I have a Summit brand washer and the water pump went out. Its mag driven. I ohm tested and am sure its defective. I called Summit to replace the part. Its a discontinued part. I cant seem to google an aftermarket replacement (summit & water pump pull tons for car mods). What I'd like to know is whether I can use any electric pump that fits. I figure the inlet and outlets shouldn't be an issue, and all pumps should be activated in the same manner. Those are my thoughts. I'd really appreciate professional feedback.
