I looked this up (I'm here looking for something else for an LG washer) and it shows in the service manual that an LE means Locked motor Error).

Here are the items shown in the service manual to have checked:

The connector (3-pin, male, white) in the MOTOR
HARNESS is not connected to the connector
(3-pin, female, white) of STATOR ASSEMBLY.

• The electric contact between the connectors
(3-pin, male, white) in the MOTOR HARNESS
and 4-pin, female, white connector in the MAIN PWB
ASSEMBLY is bad or unstable.

• The MOTOR HARNESS between the STATOR
ASSEMBLY and MAIN PWB ASSEMBLY is cut (open
circuited).

• The hall sensor is out of order/defective.

Before doing anything else, I would be sure to check that hall sensor and I can bet they have them here on the site. I read on another repair site that depending on age and use of machine those are a common error and better to check and replace that sensor before wasting money on the motor.

The manual is calling it a "hall" sensor but in reality it is a rotor position sensor.

Here is the repair video from this site:

Hope this helps
