The fact that water will drain out of the hose when it is lower says nothing is blocking things. The problem may be with the pump, if you have some tech skills you can take it out and attach jumper wires to it through a power strip with the strip off. Then turn the strip on and see if the pump is powered. If it is not, it is likely the problem.

If it is powered than the timer unit may be the issue.

You may want to replace both parts and if neither or only one is needed you can return it if you buy from this site, as they are expensive.

My kenmore washer will not drain with the hose up when I drop the hose lower than the machine it will drain and then spin out I have cleaned the trap out where all of the change and stuff gets stuck it still will not drain though please help me I cannot afford a new washer
