Here are your parts
Parts for Maytag MER6770AAB Range - AppliancePartsPros.com

Here is a manual. You will have to join the site and be logged in to be able to download the manual.

I would check that the wiring from the control board to the lower oven bake element is OK.
If it is then odds are that the control board (item 3 in section 02 of the parts) is bad.

You may also need a new overlay. It is pee; and stick and often gets ruined when trying to remove it. Warming it up with a hair dryer often helps with removal.

Our Maytag Gemini range has just started cooking food very unevenly in the bottom oven. I've checked (and replaced even though the old one was working) the lower element. Broil coil is working. I've removed and checked the temperature sensor at room temperature and I am getting the correct ohms (1073). Not sure what my next step is. Is there something a homeowner can check? Any suggestions?
