All:

I have a Whirlpool dishwasher that had a cracked heating element. I got the right replacement part and installed it tonight. I then ran a cycle with a digital thermometer in the tub. The water entered at about 120F but throughout the cycle it just got colder. This even happened for a "High Temp Wash". The heating element simply doesn't seem to be activating.

I tested both the new heating element and the hi-temp thermostat, and both showed continuity (with 12 ohms in the heater). I have confirmed that all the connectors are tight Is there any diagnostic mode I could try or perhaps some multimeter testing to be done during a wash cycle? I would welcome any suggestions!
