May be a faulty control board. Get the tech sheet from inside the control panel and follow instructions to place washer in service mode and check for any stored error codes. Note any errors and then clear them. If no errors, then try replacing the board. If you buy from APP and it doesn't fix the problem, you may return the board. If you do replace the board, you must transfer the model select plug from the old board to the new one. This is a connector on the board that has one or two jumper wires on it.

Washer has been very sporadic.

Sometimes it runs normal.

Other times the tub fills with water, but doesn't agitate. If I press the start button again, then it starts to run.

And then other times it may start agitating, , drain, rinse, but never completes the cycle. I put it on Spin Only and it completes.

Any ideas? I have read similar problems that claim the Timer is bad, but according to GE parts my washer doesn't have a timer. I'm stumped.
