It is going to be very difficult for us to diagnose that type of noise without being there to listen to it, but if you will post a full model number someone may be able to help you.

I'm not sure what to do my washer suddenly started making a shrill noise when the agitator started. I know not to run it until I can fix it but I don't know what the problem is... Any ideas
