Hi, need help, o.k. white smoke burnt plastic smell from fridge. I had my husband check it out, thought it was the Capacitor, just got the new part compressor didn't kick on, fan works, the compressor was just warm when it shut down with the burnt smell. How do you check to see if it's the compressor???? Plus does a compressor starting kit go bad and shut down the compressor, plus an overload switch. Please let me know how we can test our compressor on the fridge.
