If you have not retrieved the tech notes that are under the top cover or inside the lower service panel, do so and do the testing that they describe.

If you have those and cannot get it into diagnostic mode than the control unit is the likely problem.

We had inadvertently turned off the water valve to the washer. I started the washer and when I came back there was an error code FH. I turned the water valve on but I still can't get the washer to start the cycle. I followed the instructions in the manual to unplug the washer, make sure the water is activated, plug the washer back in and then re-select the cylce and press HOLD TO START. The display screen just continues to flash the # of minutes for the particular cycle I selected. I press the HOLD TO START button but the motor just keeps humming.
