Yes it is probably the clock/control board but I would check thet the wires to the control board and the elements are OK.

Also I am assuming that the oven stays in preheat and never comes ready.
If it does show that it is ready then it could be the oven sensor.

You may also need a new overlay sometimes they get damaged trying to remove them.

kenmore oven model# 79096112401 will not heat up everything else works is it the clock control panel
