My Whirlpool Quiet Partner
DU1100XTP
has blown 3 bi metal fuses in the past 6 months. Each time, the unit has about 2 inches of nasty water standing in the bottom when it dies.

I have replaced the bi metal wiring harness each time with the kit. I have read everything from bad heating element, thermistor, to pump problems.

I am pretty handy, so how do I test for the bad element, thermistor, or pump?
I certainly can replace/repair these if I know how to diagnose it.

Thanks!
