I still can't get the tub out but I laid the unit on it's side and looked at the pads I was going to replace. From what I could see, they look as good (thick and in place) as the new ones. When I was taking things off the tub that round counter balance with a liquid in it came off.

When I put the machine back together, it spins smooth until it gets to speed, then it starts wobbling and banging. Empty too. At the top.

I think that part is bad or needs more water in it.

I bought the spanner nut and new pads and springs to fix my banging when spinning problem. It bangs so hard it made the clutch part jump out of it's cam.

I removed the nut but the inner tub will not come out. I noticed a lot of calcium and mineral buildup so I put some lime away on it which cleaned that off. It still refuses to come out and I don't have a rubber hammer to pound on that part just under the nut. I tried prying it a little but this will only harm it.

Any suggestions?
