Could be a worn drive block, sticking brakes, clothing between the tubs, faulty gearcase. If you can fairly easily rotate the basket by hand, the drive block is probably shot. Here's a photo of the proper placement of the agitator shaft parts. If you don't use the fabric softener dispenser, they are not necessary anyway.

Hello;
My washer does not spin and the clothes are wet. I changed the clutch, as the ring inside was loose. I also changed the plastic coupler, though it was not broken, but it still will not spin.
I also changed the agitator dogs, as they were broken.
With the lid open, I give the drum a push with the hand and it starts spinning, but not with clothes in it. It seems that something is holding it back.
1) what could be the problem with the spin cycle.
2) Is there a parts diagram of the metal spindle shaft, as I am not sure if I put the metal clip and plastic on in the right order over the metal spindle/rod.
