I tested with an Ohm reader the main relays and the heater of the dryer and they all seemed to be good circuits

then I noticed that even though I had reset the breaker on my electric dryer, the breaker was not really reset, so I reset it again, and it worked

then the timer stopped and the heating stopped but the dryer kept turning

i then reset it again, and took off the exhaust hose, and took out the lint trap, and it seems to keep going perfectly when I have it like that

then I noticed the front door of the dryer was getting extremely hot and I began to wonder if the breaker had been blowing for a good reason ....

bad breaker or bad dryer part?

thx

Rob
