use tape and it will the seal will settle 80 percent of mine is now sealed

I replaced the refrigerator door gasket today (it was easy!), but now the door won't stay closed. If I push it shut, there is no "suck" to keep it shut. It stayed shut before, but the seal was in bad shape, so I replaced it. What do I do???
