Could be a number of things with it heat related it could possibly be the coils they are known for making weird noises (chirping, squeeling) when going bad since you said it was heat related but it also can be a motion part as well that's loosening up when it heats. Check: -The motor shaft for a bent pully or bearing noise -The rollers and shafts for movement and if you have a bad one replace them all in that section not just the one. -Check the drum for cracking or warping -Check your belt slack, belt tensioner -Check drum felts both front and rear for excessive wear -Check blower housing for any type of debris and vacuum out -Check drum guides for wear or missing guides Also avoid overloading your unit it causes damage when you do. I have a two year old Fridgidaire Affinty wrinkle release system ultra capacity dryer that has recently started making noise. It does not do it all the time. On quick dry, the timer starts at 25 minutes. It gets down to 7 minutes left before it starts in. It will keep going and stop when it gets done if you let it, but seems to get louder if you let it continue to run. The noise seems to be coming from the rear left lower side. On the left side, it gets very hot to the touch. The noise does not happen when we use delicate or air dry. The dryer does heat and does dry the clothes. Everything seems to be turning fine from the inside. Any idea what it could be?
