Check your inlet valve screens for mineral or rust........clean the hose from the pressure switch to the tub and make sure that hose doesn't have any leaks....it's best to pull it out and cap one side and blow on the other while under water in the sink.........then take where the hose attached to the base of the tub and clean that out being very careful with a ziptie or something small and bendable metal like a guitar string......make sure also that you are using the right soap if your unit requires HE type soap only use HE and don't use cheap brands either...........DO NOT USE CHEAP HE SOAP!...........NO SUN, PUREX, KIRKLAND FROM COSTCO OR ARM AND HAMMER and avoid using those pouch type pods also i've seen them not breakdown in a unit and clog up in places.............Go to youtube.com and watch the video by mike murphy on how to check out whirlpool duet f20 fix........Good luck

My washer(whirlpool duet), stopped working. Will turn on and count back to 1 minute before it stops and door stays locked, no water ever enters and washer cycle stays on, "add a garment". ran diagnostic and came up with f20 error code. Replace the Pressure switch and Inlet valve, still does same exact thing. Please help!! Before I buy anymore parts!!
