I ordered a replacement heater assembly for my Samsung DV5471AEW/XAA electric dryer. I got the old one out only to realize that the new unit has an extra connector and I don't know what to do.
Here is a photo of the old unit. You will see that on the right side there is a two prong connector. The blue wire was on top and red on the bottom when I disassembled it.

The next photo is of the new unit. It has three prongs on the right side instead of two plus the thermostat in the center is oriented differently.

So I have three questions...
1) Is this the wrong part?
2) What do I do with the extra connection?
3) On the center thermostat which connector gets which wire? On the original the blue wires were always on top.
